Daily E-Bike Tour and Wine Tasting in San Gimignano
Welcome to the Manhattan of Middle Age: San Gimignano! This will be the starting point of your daily e-bike tour, discovering the iconic Tuscan countryside. You will ride through picturesque vineyards and dirt roads which wind through the rolling hills.
The view will range from the green hills of Chianti to the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, but Valdelsa will dominate with its vineyards, olive groves and its characteristic cypress trees.
You will admire a Romanesque church dating back to the year one thousand, a village dating back to the early medieval period and you will follow the path of the Via Francigena, surrounded by views which are unique in the world. We will take a pleasant downhill stretch that will open up the breathtaking scenery of the Valdelsa Fiorentina.
During the tour, you will have the chance to rest in front of beautiful vineyards, tasting local wines and discovering the secrets of wine production, together with a board of typical products.
The itinerary develops along dirt roads and secondary roads with little traffic for a total length of 50 km and a difference in altitude of approximately 800 metres. Using comfortable e-bikes it will not be a problem to tackle the climbs along the route. The tour is organized to be a circular route.
